Sharing into Antinote

Share text or a link from any app and it is saved straight into a new note, with no compose step. On iPad, drag text or an image from another app into a note.

Updated for iOS 1.65

Sharing into Antinote

Design Intent: Share, done. No compose screen between you and the note.

Using the share sheet

  • Share text or a link from any app and pick Antinote. It is saved at once ("Added to Antinote") and becomes a new note the next time Antinote comes to the foreground.
  • Sharing a note out of Antinote: Orb menu › Share.

Drag and drop on iPad

  • Drag text from another app — Safari, Notes, Mail, or the other pane in split view — and drop it into a note. It lands where you drop it, cleaned up exactly like a paste: the Copy & paste settings for leading spaces, bullets, numbering and Markdown marks apply. See Markdown and formatting.
  • Drop an image from Photos, Files or Safari to read its text. The same crop step as Text from photos follows, and the recognized text is inserted at the drop point.
  • Dragging text within the same note moves or copies it the way iPadOS normally does.
  • Read-only and locked notes refuse drops.
